Epic, Big Time, and Show Time cards are the crown jewels of eFootball. These legendary players feature customized player ID animations, permanent "B" condition (meaning they practically never have bad form arrows), and unique "Boosters" that push their stats beyond the normal 99 limit.
The 150-Player Box (The Primary Method)
The vast majority of top-tier Epic cards are introduced through "Special Player Lists." These lists usually contain exactly 150 players:
- 3 Epic/Big Time Players (The grand prizes)
- 147 Highlight/Standard Players (The filler)
Each spin costs 100 eFootball Coins, or you can do 10 spins for 900 Coins. Because this is a "Box Draw," once a player is drawn, they are removed from the box. This means if you spend 15,000 Coins (150 spins), you are guaranteed to get all three Epics. However, if you only have 1,000 coins (10 spins), your chances of pulling an Epic are very low.
Free Epic Campaigns
Konami occasionally gives away Epic players for completely free, usually during major campaigns (like the game's anniversary, New Year, or summer festivals).
- These are often given as "Chance Deals" (free spins) on a specific Epic box.
- Sometimes, they offer a specific free Epic as a login bonus (e.g., a free Neymar or Messi card).
- Keep an eye on the Daily Penalty Mini-Game, which often rewards an Epic player after progressing far enough on the map.
The eFootball Point Shop
You can purchase older, slightly lower-rated Epic or Legendary cards using eFootball Points. While these cards usually lack the overpowered "Boosters" of the premium Coin box Epics, they are still excellent players with permanent B form and cost absolutely no real money.
Is it worth spinning for Epics?
If you are a free-to-play player, spinning a 150-box is mathematically a bad idea unless you are extremely lucky. It is generally better to spend your free Coins on the "Player of the Week" (POTW) packs, where every player is high-rated and useful. Save the 150-boxes for players who are willing to spend real money to clear the box.
